The almost-US-Citizen

On Wednesday at noon I finally become a US citizen!!! :) WOOOHOOO! I'm so excited!

Oh, and 10 more days until I'm done with school!

(Sorry I haven't been updating the blog much lately. Things are busy and a bit crazy. Those of you who have called me recently - I am not blowing you off. Just haven't had a chance to sit down long enough to call you. And if I did have enough time to sit down, I was usually so tired I fell asleep. Don't take it personal. I still love you!! I'll call you soon)

What??

I went to the Secretary of State today to change my address on my drivers license (no worries... I didn't move again. I just never did it when I moved 8 months ago). Granted, I went to the Express branch downtown and not to the regular Secretary of State, but... I was the ONLY person there!! In what twisted world does that EVERY happen?? I was in and out of there in less than 10 minutes.

Is all the good Karma finally paying off? Hmm....

I'm still alive...

...it's just been busy. I've been getting ready for the GRE test, which I will be taking on saturday. I need the test for my grad school application for Loyola. I've already applied to DePaul and have been accepted, but would prefer Loyola. Keep your fingers crossed!

As the studying seems to be almost over, I just found out this week that I have an interview for US citizenship on January 22. YAY!! I have to take the civics test the same day, so after the GRE is done with, I need to study for that. Can't fail the citizenship test...

Keith and I went to the Wisconsin Dells over Christmas and learned how to snowboard. Not very successfully I may add. I'm going back for more in a couple of weeks and hopefully it'll go better then. We still had a great time in the Dells (the waterpark capital of the world - what's not to love??).

On top of all the things that have been going on, I have been sick all week and been in bed ridiculously early. That doesn't leave much to blog about.

Oh... except... I'm graduating in less than 6 weeks!!!! :)
